Good luck dealing with this mental image: Larry King. Naked. Chandeliers.
Just watch the footage.
Carrie Prejean has a serious congressional supporter who thinks she should pursue a career in politics ... and it's not just because she has her finger on the hot-button issues.
TMZ spoke with Congressman Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) who tells us he thinks Prejean could be a serious contender in the political arena: "[Carrie] has the ability to draw crowds and if she has a strong message to go with that, who knows what she can do? She has star power which can open doors.
"We've all made mistakes when we were 17. [The sex tape] is going to be an impediment, but people are excited about her convictions and her beliefs."
For the record -- Carrie was 20 when she filmed her world famous solo mission.

Harvey and Mike took your questions today on everything -- including Dr. Conrad Murray's baby bills and Janet Jackson blaming him for the death of her brother, Michael.
Plus: Brock Lesnar's mystery illness, the offer Vivid made for Carrie Prejean's solo tape and somebody thinks vegetarians are "annoying."

Carrie Prejean is going to be publicly mocked by the very people who helped "make" her -- and it's all going down at the upcoming Miss California USA pageant.
TMZ has learned the people behind the pageant are on the hunt for a Carrie lookalike to play the former Miss Cali winner in a skit for this weekend's pageant.
Our sources say a first round of auditions for the Prejean part were held this past weekend, but no one "nailed" it yet.
No word on why the pageant didn't ask Prejean to appear in the skit -- after all, nobody can nail Carrie like Carrie.

Donna Mills is not a fan of Carrie Prejean.
We caught up with the former "Knots Landing" star outside the Pasadena Playhouse last night where she had some brief but candid remarks about the ousted Miss California USA.

The cat fight between Carrie Prejean and the people at Miss California USA keeps hissing along -- the Pageant president is now slamming the "biblically correct" beauty queen one more time, because ... well ... why not?
In response to Carrie's awkward appearance on "Larry King Live" and her ex-boyfriend saying he was told to lie about her age in her solo sex tape, Miss Cali Prez Keith Lewis tells TMZ:
"The public is finally getting a glimpse of the real Carrie Prejean who lives in her own delusional world.
The childish behavior, her negative attitude, the sarcasm and condescending tone, the disrespect and continual lying she is demonstrating now is only a fraction of what we endured during her reign and after.
Anyone who buys her book is supporting a woman who is actually the opposite of everything she claims to be.
I sincerely hope she is able to get the psychological help I believe she has shown to clearly need."

Carrie Prejean's ex-boyfriend -- the guy to whom she sent the XXX solo video -- tells TMZ Carrie and company called him last week and tried getting him to "lie" and say she was 17 when she shot the video.
During an audio interview with TMZ, the man -- who asked us not to reveal his identity -- says Carrie sent him the video when they were involved with each other in 2007. He says Carrie sent him numerous explicit videos and insists the one in question was shot when she was 20.
We have verified this is indeed the guy to whom Carrie sent her solo video -- which ultimately torpedoed her settlement with Miss California USA.
These are the pictures he took with Carrie during a long, romantic weekend in San Diego.
Carrie's rep could not be reached for comment.

Carrie Prejean and Larry King just made the most awesomely awkward TV.
Carrie unplugged her mic on "Larry King Live" tonight and threatened to walk off the show -- all because Larry pressed her on details about her settlement with Miss California USA ... as in, he wanted her to bring up her solo sex tape.
Carrie called Larry "extremely inappropriate" for his line of questioning ... Larry's response? He said, "Inappropriate King Live continues" and then took a phone call.

Shanna Moakler wants one last thing from her arch-enemy Carrie Prejean -- a viewing of the infamous solo sex tape.
Moakler, who campaigned publicly to get "biblically correct" Carrie booted as Miss California USA, was at Benjamin Steak House in NYC yesterday where she said "I'm looking forward to seeing" Prejean's one woman show.
FYI, perverts, the tape has not been released.
Shanna also apologized for calling Khloe Kardashian a "donkey" -- but the apology definitely seemed half-assed.

Carrie Prejean continued to run her biblically correct mouth this morning on "Today" -- saying news of her solo sex tape is part of a 7-month "campaign to try and silence me."
The dethroned beauty queen said people are still trying to "embarrass" and "humiliate" her because of the answer she gave to the same-sex marriage question during the Miss USA pageant.
When pressed by Meredith Vieira why she dropped her million dollar lawsuit against Miss California USA, she wouldn't bite, saying she's "not allowed" to discuss the outcome.

We have more info on Carrie Prejean's abrupt about-face during the settlement negotiations with Miss California USA lawyers -- when they showed her the X-Rated version of Home Alone ... starring Carrie herself.
When the video started playing, Carrie's first reaction was "that's disgusting" ... and Carrie denied it was her.
Then, the camera angle changed ... and panned up to her face. She was caught red-handed ... so to speak.
Carrie was rendered speechless and immediately began talking with her lawyer. We're told it took about 15 seconds for Carrie to drop her $1 million dollar demand.

Carrie Prejean demanded more than a million dollars during her settlement negotiations with Miss California USA Pageant officials -- that is, until the lawyer for the Pageant showed Carrie an XXX home video of her handiwork.
The video the lawyer showed Carrie is extremely graphic and has never been released publicly. We know that, because TMZ obtained the video months ago but decided not to post it because it was so racy. Let's just say, Carrie has a promising solo career.
We're told it took about 15 seconds for Carrie to jettison her demand and essentially walk away with nothing. As we first reported, the Pageant is paying around $100,000 to her lawyers and publicist -- a fraction of her bills. She pockets nothing in the settlement.

Carrie Prejean nets a big fat zero in her settlement with the folks at Miss California USA, sources tell TMZ.
Carrie and the Pageant officials have settled their lawsuits against each other and the terms were confidential ... until now.
We've learned the Pageant will fork over around $100,000 for Carrie's lawyers and publicists connected with the public battle royale. That money goes directly to her flacks and not into her bank account. We're told Carrie personally gets zilch.
What Carrie walks away with: Her book comes out on Monday and we're told the Pageant won't fight her for writing it without its permission.

Carrie Prejean is finally firing back at the people behind Miss California USA with a lawsuit -- claiming Shanna Moakler and other pageant officials forced her out because of her religious beliefs.
Prejean just filed the suit in L.A. County Superior Court, accusing Moakler and pageant honcho Keith Lewis of religious discrimination, defamation, public disclosure of private facts, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligent infliction of emotional distress.
Prejean was dethroned/fired from her post as Miss California USA back on June 10, nearly two months after she spoke out against gay marriage at the April 19th Miss USA competition.
Prejean claims the Miss Cali people "conspired to get rid of her" beginning on April 21st -- when she said on the "Today" show that she would rather be "biblically correct than politically correct."
Reps for Miss California USA have previously explained that Carrie was fired for missing appearances she was supposed to make for the organization and for not getting clearance to do extracurricular activities.
Donald Trump -- who owns the Miss Universe Organization -- is NOT named in the suit.
But in her suit, Carrie says the Miss Cali USA people "fabricated a fraudulent list of some 50 public appearances allegedly missed by Prejean which they released to the media in order to justify her termination as Miss California USA."
In the suit, Carrie claims officials also tried to "set up Prejean to have her dismissed as Miss California USA by asking her to do a Playboy photo shoot for $120,000."
UPDATE: A rep for Moakler tells TMZ: "Ms. Moakler has not yet been served with Carrie Prejean's lawsuit. However, on Ms. Moakler's behalf, I can say unequivocally that Ms. Prejean's lawsuit is without merit. More importantly, as everyone who watched or read her public statements is well aware, Ms. Prejean's unfortunate and bigoted statements are responsible for any public humiliation or damages to her reputation that she has claimed to have suffered. Ms. Moakler strenuously denies that she did anything wrong and looks forward to proving that in a court of law."
