The song "Happy Together" has successfully annoyed every last American. Now the tune has so bent someone out of shape, they're suing.
The company that owns the rights to the record claims Ford did not have the right to use The Turtles' 1967 hit in a commercial. The sinking motor company had struck a deal to use the words and music from the song in Brazil and Argentina, but the song owner insists Ford violated its Turtle rights.
The suit is for more than $200,000 in damages.

A double-decker bus carrying The Roots crashed and flipped over in Paris last night -- and after their drummer crawled out of the rubble of cereal, broken glass and bathroom fluid, he immediately blogged about it.

Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt when a van (pictured underneath the bus) crashed into the bus, forcing it to do a 360 on the highway and turn on its side. When the drummer, Ahmir "?uestlove" Thompson, emerged from the chaotic scene, he immediately sent a post-wreck email to Okayplayer.com that read: "well...since we are sitting on the side of the road. what better way to pass the time while the ambulance come then [sic] to....blog."
Love later wrote a detailed blow-by-blow of the crash and aftermath from a motel, where he described the moment he realized he wasn't dead, described the injuries ("some of us have cuts and neck braces on"), and declared, "we are so grateful for this outcome."

Yes, you read that correctly.

Molly Ringwald, of "Breakfast Club" fame, is performing tonight at the redwhite+bluezz jazz club in Pasadena, Calif. as part of their Living Legends series. Living? Sure. Legend? Eh ...
According to her IMDB bio, by the time she was six years old, she had recorded an album of Dixieland jazz with her father and his group, the Fulton Street Jazz Band. She's now 40.

This has definitely got to be the best birthday ever for Travis Barker.

The drummer was all smiles last night following his birthday dinner at Nobu with on again off again ex Shanna and the kids. It appears he has successfully hit the reset button since surviving the plane crash.

Former pop singer/actress/wife Jessica Simpson just added another stellar achievement to her disintegrating resume, the CMAs' persona non grata.
In a last ditch effort to save her career, the "Dukes of Hazzard" star released a country album earlier this year -- so it would have made sense to make an appearance at last night's show. Unfortunately, the Carrie Underwood-hosted CMAs had no time to have Tony Romo's current girlfriend perform, present or sit in the bleachers, since they had already filled their ranks with tried and true country artists like ... Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon and Lil Wayne!
But don't worry, Ashlee Simpson's sister doesn't need the entire country music establishment on her side. Tonight she's performing at an Indian casino near Ontario, Calif. and we're told 50% of tix are still available.
"Dancing with the Stars" here she comes!

Lil' Wayne has finally found something to keep his damn pants up -- a pair of chaps!
TMZ has learned the rapper will perform at the Country Music Awards tonight alongside Kid Rock. Wayne will be the first major hip-hop artist to take the stage at the CMAs.
Kid and Wayne performed together at the VMAs two months ago. Déjà vu!
No word if Carrie Underwood is going to be on the "Lollipop" remix.

By the title of Justin Gaston's new song, the 20-year-old is well aware that dating a 15-year-old pop star may not be the wisest move legally.

Miley Cyrus' underwear model boyfriend turned "Nashville Star" reject croons about heartache on his appropriately titled track "Right Love, Wrong Time." But fear not Billy Ray wannabe, the right time is just a little over two years away -- when Miley turns 18.

Obscurity does the body good. Just ask former Creed singer Scott Stapp.

The 35-year-old resurfaced at some event in Boca Raton this weekend, looking much healthier and a tad bit douchey.
It's amazing what breaking up your Christian rock band or allegedly throwing a bottle at your wife can do for a fella.

T-Pain has issued a list of demands -- it's just a little unclear as to what they hell they are.
The singer's management has thrown down the gauntlet to anyone wishing to interview the guy in the next few days -- here's what was sent out:
"Please let interviewers know that Pain will only be discussing his album release on 11/11 and any other topics surrounding what he is currently doing.
He will only answer one question on Wayne and upcoming projects they have. No questions on picking favorite artists, who he would like to work with or any other kind of lists.
If you are fun with it that's fine, and shoot out 5 cool questions relevant to what's going on in his life cool [sic], otherwise he may he may [sic] get mad."
Going by this request, it is okay to ask T-Pain why he doesn't know these kinds of demands make him look ridiculous.

R. Kelly's 15-year-old nephew was shot yesterday -- and cops say he may have been trying to rob a barbershop.
The nephew might've been shot twice by the store owner, according to police -- but the victim's father Carey Kelly (R.'s brother) says the kid may have just been an innocent victim of someone else who was robbing the store.
The nephew currently is being treated at a Chicago area hospital for a chest wound.
UPDATE: According to FOX 32, cops have the injured nephew's brother -- Brandon -- in custody for the alleged robbery.

The band's frontman, Chino Moreno, says the situation is "very serious" and a post on the Deftones website says Chi is in serious, but stable condition at a northern California hospital, but didn't provide specifics.
Chi has played bass for the Deftones since 1988.

Everybody loves "I Love Rock and Roll" -- just not when Avril Lavigne's singing it.

The pink-haired wannabe punk was coaxed on-stage by the badass guys from Steel Panther at the Key Club last night -- and quickly made us long for the days of Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson.
