Rumors are circulating that the Backstreet Men Boys are about to get dumped by Jive Records. NOT true.

TMZ talked with a Jive Records spokesperson who told us, "Reports about Jive Records dropping Backstreet Boys are completely untrue. The group is about to embark on a worldwide tour in support of their album, Unbreakable, starting Feb. 16 in Toyko, as well as some high profile television appearances."

Well, that's sure a relief!

39. I fail to understand why there is such hostility for this group. All they do is sing. And they do it beautifully. Their harmonies are reminiscent of the smooth sounds of the Temptations, the Four Tops, the Beach Boys. If you don't like their music, don't listen. But allow the rest of us with good taste to enjoy the incredible vocal harmonies these men create. And for the record, I'm in my 50s and have enjoyed the Backstreet Boys music for over 11 years. Jive Records would be mentally deficient if they released this group of talented vocalists.
