Backstreet Boys Still Got Jive

Rumors are circulating that the Backstreet Men Boys are about to get dumped by Jive Records. NOT true.

TMZ talked with a Jive Records spokesperson who told us, "Reports about Jive Records dropping Backstreet Boys are completely untrue. The group is about to embark on a worldwide tour in support of their album, Unbreakable, starting Feb. 16 in Toyko, as well as some high profile television appearances."

Well, that's sure a relief!

20. That's great! ... now I hope the boys will leave Jive on their own. What's the point of having to deal with a record label, which doesn't support you, if "records" don't have a future anyway?

They are all about their great shows - do it like Madonna, boys, and get yourself a contract with a well-paying event company!

I almost cried when I saw the post on lame ass Perez's site. Thank you for being the only place to actually post facts. I have been a fan of the boys for 14 years and I could hate to see them go. They are true talents who have withstood the ever changing music scene and produce music for there die hard fans :)
