151. Yet another example of Britney's irresponsible behavior. Let's all reflect on the many, many instances where this young woman has been driving her children around...all without a CA license. In addition to being irresponsible, Britney Spears is basically a stupid, lazy person. How hard is it to shift yourself to get a license?

152. Even though I do not condone what Brit did, she should have checked the other car out & leave info. But the info this person wrote regarding her Drivers License is incorrect ... I watched TMZ last night, she did not have her License with her that day per the reporter who wrote up this story. There is a big diff not having her license with her & having an invalid License. It seems this reporter enjoyed twisting the tale regarding her license when he said on TV, she did not have it with her that day, she forgot it @ home.

I don't see why she should get 6 months in jail, she did not hit or hurt anyone .. she hit a parked car even though she should have reported it or leave a note. She should be fined & pay for the damages. But to go to jail, that is toally absurd. Just my opinion.

While I agree that she should have checked the other car for damage, she did not leave the scene, she asked for a security guard -- which one of the reporters is heard saying he would get one for her. I probably couldn't have parked my car with 20 photogs running alongside me and distracting me. Not defending Brit just know that I might have hit the car too!!

155. That video will clear her, since she clearly asks the paparrazi if she caused damage to the other car, and they clearly told her no. I'm therefore wondering if the person whose car was hit really has any damage, or if they're just milking her for money after they found out it was Britney.

As for the license charge, if it wasn't suspended (and I assume you'd be slobbering all over the story if it was), she probably just forgot to renew it. That happens to people all the time, and if it were anyone else, they'd just issue her a ticket, which will be dismissed if she renews before her court date. No big deal.

Insofar as Britney going to a nurse's house and a pet store .... that's okay, we'll pass on the videos of those momentous events. **eyes rolling**

156. 24- Its not the acting up of the child that will be the problem. My exwife had a friend who's mom was really screwed up. Those kids grew into really angry adults. both sons committed crimes, one is dead of HIV, and the friend has had two kids out of wedlock with an ex-con. Its the angry adults that result that is the true problem here.

159. Britneys going to get double-jeopardy on everything now. After the drug finding, the cops went for the throat. I stand by my catholic theory that some people who are strong catholic want federline (who is and whose family is strict catholic) to have the kid. i'll bet you anything that the officer who filed charges against her is catholic and/or the prosecutor is. They probably figure putting her away, or trying to, will work in federline's favor with getting the kids. it's not a crazy idea, these things happen.

Britney's lawyer could get her off scot-free on incompetence or diminished capacity or by claiming she needs medication and wasn't herself, but then it would work against her in the custody thing and defame her. I don't think brit was/is mentally ill at all, but I think, from what i say, she is out of it and clueless. why did she not even notice? or think she could get away with it? and she never had a license?! that's basic stuff. kind of weird she's never a license all this time.

I'll bet, if she had paid the woman who was hit for her damages, the police would have dropped this matter. Maybe or maybe not. In my opinion, having a DUI is worse than this hit and run. DUI can kill someone--lots of people. hitting a car in a parking lot does property damage but endangers no lives. I don't think she should get jail time, but if she was a poor minority, or just poor, period, she would get jail

161. Are you insane? A Catholic conspiracy? The girl is teetering on the brink (okay, she fell in long ago) of insanity, and you think it's because Federline is Catholic she's getting her just desserts? She damaged a vehicle, left the scene without ever making an attempt to contact the victim, has never possessed a valid CA driver's license, went drinking after a judge declared her a substance abuser, et al. and you don't think she's mentally ill? I don't expect her to get any jail time, nor would I expect anyone, rich or poor to get any. I don't think this is a racial issue. Of course it's not as bad as a DUI, (which she could probably get on any given day anyway) and the sentencing reflects that.
This poor woman needs help. Big time. Her actions this week aren't someone merely crying for help-she's screaming bloody murder.
